Ilona Balaga is an Israeli artist currently living and working in Tel Aviv.
Balaga's work derives from everyday stimulations, be it politics, aesthetics or personal life experiences.
Through her practice she explores and questions common knowledge, by subverting and re-examining representations, ideas and symbols, using different media ranging from video, drawing, photography, installation and sculpture.
